WHAT FUNDRAISERS ARE OFFERED?

We offer the following plant fundraisers: Easter Flowers, Mother’s Day Flowers, Annual Flats, Fall Flowers, Fall Bulbs, Poinsettias.  A Wreath fundraiser is also offered.

HOW MUCH PROFIT CAN MY GROUP MAKE?

Up to 40% profit can be made.  Sell up to $999.99, earn 20%.  Sell $1,000 to $1,999.99, earn 25%.  Sell $2,000 to $2,999.99, earn 30%.  Sell $3,000 +, earn 35%.  Earn a 5% bonus if you sell more than $5,000 of products.

IS DELIVERY AVAILABLE?

Yes, we offer FREE delivery for all of our fundraisers in southwestern Pennsylvania counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Washington, and Westmoreland.  A $125.00 delivery fee will be charged for Armstrong, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, and Somerset counties.  If located outside of the western Pennsylvania 11 county delivery area, the delivery fee will be based on mileage.  Fundraiser product pickup at our store is available for any group at no charge.

WHEN IS THE MONEY COLLECTED DUE?

The balance of the total money collected minus your profit is due when the order is placed with Tropicals Plus.

MY GROUP IS SMALL, CAN WE DO A PLANT FUNDRAISER WITH TROPICALS PLUS?

Certainly, no group is too small.  There is no minimum order required.

HOW ARE FUNDRAISER FORMS DISTRIBUTED?

All of the fundraiser forms are in pdf format and are emailed the fundraiser point person.  From there, you can email them to all of the families in your group.

CAN WE ADD OUR GROUP’S LOGO TO THE FUNDRAISER FORM?

Yes, logos or who is benefiting from the fundraiser can be added to the fundraiser form.  You may also delete or add items to fit your group’s needs.

DO WE PAY SALES TAX?

If your group is sales tax exempt, you do not pay sales tax.  A Pennsylvania Exemption Certificate is required if you are tax exempt.  Otherwise, 7% PA sales tax is deducted from the group’s total sales.

WHO CAN DO A TROPICALS PLUS PLANT FUNDRAISER?

Any non-profit or for-profit group or organization looking to raise money.  Examples are: school groups, scouts, dance/tumble groups, churches, PTAs, benefit events/causes, adult organizations (VFW, SNPJ, Moose Clubs etc.), clubs, sports groups PLUS many more.

DO YOU OFFER SHIPPING?

No, most of the plant products would not do well being shipped individually.

HOW ARE THE PRODUCTS DELIVERED?

All of the fundraiser products are delivered by Tropicals Plus’ trucks in boxes or individually to the pre-determined delivery location.  The products will be off loaded by Tropicals Plus individuals and then be counted and verified.  You will be required to sort the products according to the individual orders.  It is recommended that you have two helpers to sort individual orders for every thousand dollars of product sold.
